Chivas Femenil’s first away match of the Clausura 2026 is just around the corner, as this Saturday, January 10, they’ll visit Cruz Azul at their new home in Cuernavaca, Morelos. One of the key players who helped Guadalajara successfully navigate its first match of the semester was Eva González, who made her first appearance wearing the red-and-white jersey against Atlético San Luis, acting as a connection in midfield alongside Yamile Franco.

González positioned herself at the base of Antonio Contreras’ team to provide movement and fluid distribution of the ball, along with clarity in Chivas’ offensive progressions. On top of that, she displayed excellent reading of the game, filling spaces both when attacking and when providing defensive coverage.
