Everton and Galatasaray interested in Moussa Dembélé | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Everton and Galatasaray have both shown an interest in Moussa Dembélé (26), who is soon to be a free agent with the Frenchman’s contract at Olympique Lyonnais ending.

Dembélé saw his opportunities for first-team minutes limited by the return of Alexandre Lacazette at Lyon. Whilst the latter was the second-top scorer in Ligue 1 last season, Dembélé managed just three goals in 23 league appearances, although many of those came from the bench.

It has been officially confirmed that Dembélé will leave the club upon the expiry of his contract at the end of the month, and according to Romano, clubs are already showing interest. Several clubs have reportedly approached the Frenchman, whilst Everton and Galatasaray are both “informed on the conditions of the deal.”

Saudi Arabian clubs are also keeping tabs on Dembélé, with the Gulf State hoping to tempt more players from Europe’s top divisions to play in their championship. Karim Benzema is the latest big name to have made the switch.
