According to Sunderland Echo, Régis Le Bris and David Moyes have largely healthy squads, but a handful of key players are unavailable.

For Sunderland, Dan Ballard serves the second game of a three-match ban for violent conduct in the recent draw at Wolves, after an appeal was rejected. Bertrand Traore returned to training last week, missed the Manchester United matchday squad, and has trained again, so he could return this weekend.

For Everton, Idrissa Gueye has missed the last two league fixtures with a knock and Moyes has confirmed he will not be fit to feature this weekend. He could be back for the final game of the season.

Jarrad Branthwaite will miss the rest of the campaign with a hamstring injury sustained in the Merseyside derby, when he was stretchered off.
