Everton are reportedly very keen on the idea of signing AS Monaco player Folarin Balogun (25), according to ESPN.
In their search for attacking reinforcements, the Toffees are said to have even identified the US international as their top target for the remainder of the transfer window. However, signing Balogun will not be possible without players leaving the Liverpool-based club. Iliman Ndiaye (26), who is reportedly on the radar of Manchester City and Tottenham, and Beto (28) are currently the main candidates to leave Hill Dickinson Stadium.
A product of the Arsenal academy, Balogun could therefore soon be making his return to England, four years after his move to France, where he shone for Stade de Reims before joining Monaco.
On the Rock, the 25-year-old has lived up to expectations and is coming off the back of a successful 2025-26 season, with 19 goals and five assists in 43 appearances across all competitions. And whilst his contract runs until 2028, his market value is estimated at around €50m by the specialist website Transfermarkt.
