Everton ‘have submitted’ offer for Monaco’s Folarin Balogun | OneFootball

Fabrizio Romano reports that Everton have submitted a bid for AS Monaco forward Folarin Balogun, 25.

Balogun, who impressed in Ligue 1 last season, has yet to feature this season. Filipe Luís has said the striker played through the FIFA World Cup with a minor injury and is still completing his recovery.

He was in the stands at the Stade Louis II on Sunday as Monaco beat Olympique de Marseille 2-0. Paris Brunner scored twice and appears to be the heir apparent.

Monaco have been open to a sale this season and Balogun is keen to leave. Interest has come from across Europe, but no agreement has been reached.

With the deadline looming, Everton are pushing to land the striker after lodging their offer.
