Everton have struggled with their performances over the past few seasons. The club have been fighting to keep their place in the Premier League. There was a time when dreams of European football were dreamt of at Goodison Park, but things have changed now. Now the focus is on how the team can stay in the league. The lack of quality in the squad and the failure of the forward line have put them in trouble many times. The management has also realised that unless they add to the quality of attack, the results will not change.
The club made some efforts in the last two transfer windows, but there was not much effect. This time, things look a little different. The club are active in the summer transfer window, the planning is clear, and some big names are also being eyed. Now, a name has emerged that has aroused curiosity among the fans.

As reported by reporter Ben Jacobs, Everton are again trying to bring Jack Grealish from Manchester City. The club had previously shown interest in this transfer, but now the discussions are about to start again. Grealish, who joined City from Aston Villa in a record deal, no longer has the same role in Pep Guardiola’s team.
He played an important role in the first two seasons at City. The Englishman also contributed a lot to the 2023 Champions League victory, but now his role in the team is limited. Everton feel that Grealish has the quality and can reshape their attacking line.
If Everton manage to sign him, it will be a bold but positive move for the team. Grealish has qualities like his ball control, vision and creativity that make him a special player. He can cut in from the wing, create space in midfield and is quick to make decisions, and Everton’s current attacking department lack a player with such class and traits. In such a situation, Grealish’s arrival can have a direct impact on the club’s fortunes.
However, the question is whether this deal can become a reality. Manchester City want his permanent transfer, while Everton only want to bring him on loan. Looking at the financial condition of the Toffees, a permanent deal seems difficult, but if City agree on a loan, then Everton will have a chance to bring Grealish back to the top level. Overall, this transfer is definitely a risk for Everton, but if things fall into place, then it can become their smartest move in their recent history.
