Artem Dovbyk has never been fully convincing since his move to Roma last year.
The Ukrainian scored 17 goals in his first year, but received criticism for his sometimes underwhelming performances.
The situation hasn’t changed under Gasperini: his connection with the coach never clicked, and now he’s on his way out.
Gasperini has tried to work on the 1997-born player, but aside from a few occasions, no progress has been made.
Roma wants to sell him in January to raise money and focus on players who are suited to the coach, such as Joshua Zirkzee and Giacomo Raspadori.
As reported by Gianlucadimarzio.com, a club is pushing for the Ukrainian.
Everton would like to acquire him, but the striker would prefer to stay in Italy and is currently unwilling to move to other leagues.
Serie A is also showing interest. Como has made a move, but is currently unwilling to make a move. The teams that could make a concrete move for the Giallorossi’s number 9 are Napoli and Milan.
The Rossoneri recently signed Niclas Füllkrug, but they like the player. A loan swap with Lucca could be considered for the Partenopei.
