Everton made a January attempt for Fenerbahce midfielder Miguel Crespo last month.

The former Estoril star, reports Sporx, was the subject of a bid from Everton during the January market.

However, the move went no further as Fener gave Everton no encouragement, refusing to even acknowledge the proposal.

Crespo is also interesting Atletico Madrid.

Atletico were keen on a loan deal with a purchase option for the Portuguese.
