In a recent report, RMC Sport revealed that Everton have missed out on signing Paris Saint-Germain starlet Ayman Kari this summer. It is believed that the French midfielder has decided to decline a move to join the Toffees and would stay and fight for his first-team place at PSG beyond this off-season.
The 18-year-old has come through the youth ranks of Paris Saint-Germain but is yet to make a senior appearance for the French club.
Kari has caught the eye at the youth levels of French football and managed to gain some valuable top-flight experience under his belt when he went out on a loan spell at Lorient. The talented youngster made five senior appearances for them but failed to find the back of the net or create a goal in Ligue 1.
His current contract at PSG will run out in the summer of 2025. Thus, there is no immediate need for the French outfit to cash in on Kari.

Kari can get stuck in with some solid tackles to make life difficult for the oppostion at the centre of the park. He can time his challenges well to make some important interceptions for his team and usually clears his lines when the opposition are on the front foot.
Kari is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can even fill in as a defensive midfielder if asked to do so by his manager. However, the French youngster has to find a way to improve his productivity going forward if he wants to taste success at the highest level.
At 18, Kari has the potential to become a future star in European football. Hence, his decision to stay in Paris beyond this summer will be a big blow for the Toffees as Sean Dyche looks to build a strong squad for the future.
Even then, the Merseyside club should focus on getting some of their other targets if they want to avoid getting dragged into a relegation dogfight once again in the Premier League next season.
