Everton players shine on recent international duty | OneFootball

Everton players have had a positive international break so far. Jordan Pickford made history for England this week, while Iliman Ndiaye, Idrissa Gana Gueye, and Vitalii Mykolenko all contributed to impressive international wins on Friday.

Ndiaye registered two assists for Senegal in their thumping 5-0 win over South Sudan, a match that also featured Blues midfielder Idrissa Gueye. Meanwhile, Mykolenko also grabbed an assist as Ukraine beat Iceland 5-3 in the World Cup qualifiers.

Ndiaye and Gueye started for Senegal and helped them clinch all three points as they maintain their position at the top of Group B with one matchday remaining of the African World Cup qualifiers.

Ndiaye provided two assists to his teammates, setting up Ismalia Sarr to score the opener before squaring the ball to Sadio Mane to double their advantage. Ndiaye and Gueye both were on the field for 72 minutes before being substituted off.

It was Senegal’s sixth win of their qualifying campaign as they continue their unbeaten run and have won each of their last four games. They will finish their qualifying campaign with a match against Mauritania on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Mykolenko set up Ruslan Malinovskyi’s opener against Iceland inside the first 15 minutes of the contest that ended 5-3 in favour of Ukraine. Victory in Laugardalsvöllur has helped Ukraine leapfrog Iceland into second place in Group D of the European World Cup qualifiers after three games. France lead the table, having won all of their matches so far.

On the other hand, Tyler Dibling made a positive impression for England U21 in their 4-0 win over Moldova at the Zimbru Stadium in a UEFA Euro U-21 qualifier.

Having started the game, Dibling was on the pitch for 69 minutes and made several positive actions to influence the win for Lee Carsley’s side who have picked up two in two and will face Andorra on Monday.

Thought Seamus and Jake had a great g game although Seamus tired towards the end and had to go off.

The referee seemed to favour Portugal and gave a penalty which on repay seemed to hit his chest.

Very unlucky to concede in injury time.

Dear oh dear, that was a terrible miss, wasn't it? His attempt on goal from point blank range against Crystal Palace was also straight at the keeper.

Fortunately for us, the defender's clearance came straight to Grealish and he controlled his effort towards goal very well. Still, it was a bad miss from Beto in the first place.

Seamus and Jake were excellent last night, both played in their proper positions.

Moving Jake to fullback in the last 10 minutes cost us in the end, because we missed his height in the middle when they scored.

I also think the ref was shockingly biased, and the penalty was a joke, it hit his chest, and how the Dutch VAR team approved the penalty was beyond belief.

Dibling was a sub tonight and got 30 mins. He stayed on touch line got about 20 passes to him and after standing on ball for 20 secs passed it back to same player who passed it to him. Not once did he attempt to beat his full back, not once did he look for a forward ball.

I hope we haven't bought a dud.
