Everton will aim to maintain their solid momentum when they host Bournemouth at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Tuesday evening.
The Toffees arrive in confident mood after extending their unbeaten Premier League run.
The Cherries also travel to Merseyside in positive form following a top performance at the weekend.
With Everton and Bournemouth separated by only a few points in the table, the contest could have significant implications in the race for a top-half finish.
Everton have bounced back in recent weeks, with the Merseyside club currently on a five-match unbeaten run in the league.
Their latest outing saw them come from behind to secure a 2-1 win over Fulham.
The Toffees currently sit eighth in the standings with 37 points, keeping them firmly in contention for European qualification places.
Their success has largely been built on defensive solidity, with only three Premier League sides conceding fewer goals than Everton this season.
However, Everton’s home form has been inconsistent. They have collected just eight points from their last eight league matches at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Having secured a 1-0 victory away at Bournemouth earlier in the campaign, David Moyes’ side will be eager to complete a league double over the Cherries for the first time.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth continue to impress under Andoni Iraola despite losing key attacker Antoine Semenyo during the winter transfer window.
The Cherries are unbeaten in their last five league fixtures and earned a credible 1-1 draw against title-chasing Aston Villa last time out.
The visitors sit 11th in the table and could leapfrog Everton with a convincing victory.
While Bournemouth’s attacking output on the road has been impressive, defensive vulnerabilities have limited their progress away from home.
Bournemouth have lost six of their eight away league games against Everton, although they staged a 3-2 comeback win in this fixture last season.
Each of the last four Premier League meetings between the sides has been goalless at half-time, with the last 11 goals in this fixture arriving after the interval.
Everton have won both of their Tuesday Premier League fixtures this season, while Bournemouth have won only one of their last eight midweek Premier League matches.
Moyes is dealing with just one confirmed absentee in Jack Grealish.
He is expected to miss the remainder of the season after sustaining an ankle injury that could require surgery.
Jarrad Branthwaite has returned to fitness following a hamstring problem, creating competition in central defence alongside Michael Keane and James Tarkowski.
Keane impressed during Everton’s recent defensive run and may retain his place in the starting line-up.
Meanwhile, 19-year-old Harrison Armstrong should continue in attack.
Jordan Pickford; Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, Michael Keane, Vitaliy Mykolenko; James Garner, Idrissa Gueye; Harrison Armstrong, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Iliman Ndiaye; Thierno Barry.
