A 'football Insider' writing for The Independent claims that Everton have rejected an offer from Lazio for midfielder Tim Iroegbunam. The Serie A club supposedly made an approach for the 22-year-old but it is claimed that the fee involved did not match Everton’s valuation.
If the story has any legs, it's suggested that Lazio may up their offer for the former Aston Villa player, who cost Everton £10M back in July 2024.
Iroegbunam has started 11 league games this season and made 35 appearances for Everton, with David Moyes unlikely to want to lose a player from his limited squad, even if the funds might be used to strengthen in other priority areas.

BBC "Gossip" column is reporting Lazio as being interested in Iroegbunam which seems unlikely if he does have an unnamed injury.
If there is anything to it, then surely Armstrong will stay with us for the same reason his loan was cut. Chinese whispers, eh.

Id rather keep Tim than the £15M, unless it unlocks a better player now.
He is far from the finished article, but his ball control and taking the ball past players could be a real asset if he can fix other parts of his game.
Will be interesting how they see him vs Rohl etc.
