Flamengo will have Éverton Ribeiro available for Sunday’s clash against Corinthians.
The attacker had been considered a doubt after he was forced off with a knee problem during Thursday’s 1-1 draw with Bragantino.
However, the 31-year Brazil international received intense treatment on the injury and was named in the Rubro-Negro’s squad before they took their brief flight east to São Paulo.
Having Ribeiro on board will be a boost to manager Domènec Torrent as he navigates his way through an intense schedule of Brasileirão games.
But the Mengão will still have to make do without the services of injured trio Diego Alves, Rodrigo Caio and Giorgian De Arrascaeta.
Star striker Gabriel Barbosa has been included in the squad, but is not expected to be named in the starting XI as he continues to battle a right ankle complaint.
Flamengo began the weekend level on points with leaders Atlético Mineiro, but with an inferior goal difference.
