Everton squad unchanged for Wolves clash | OneFootball

Everton will head into the clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Hill Dickinson Stadium with an unchanged squad. The Toffees do not have any fresh injury concerns and also aren’t expected to welcome back any of the players currently sidelined.

Michael Keane returned from injury to make the squad against Brentford after missing the 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest with a minor niggle. Meanwhile, Charly Alcaraz, Jarrad Branthwaite, Seamus Coleman and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall are all in the treatment room.

Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye also remain unavailable due to their participation in the Afcon, where Senegal will take on Mali in the quarter-finals on Friday.

"[Keane] came through [his return] fine. Obviously, we've got to be careful because it's three games in six days but [Keane] came through fine and I was really pleased because I was worried that he wouldn't,” David Moyes said in the pre-match press conference.

Asked if he expected to have any more players available for Saturday's FA Cup third round tie with Sunderland, Moyes added: "I don't know yet."

Harrison Armstrong has been recalled from his loan spell and made an appearance off the bench against Brentford. The teenager would be ready to start a game if required, confirmed Moyes.

“I thought Harrison looked like someone who's been playing regular football. He looked as if he's up to speed. He's been playing against good sides in the Championship and his own team, Preston, have been competitive near the top of the league.

"I thought he came on and did fine. It might have been us having a bit more of the ball at that time of the game [when he came on], with Brentford sitting off a little bit, but I'm pleased with how he did. He did really well.

"I think he's probably ready to start. He's more ready to start games because of the amount he's played at Preston with the games he's had there and the good work they've done with him. Physically, he's in a condition to play games – I've got no doubt about that."

Wolverhampton Wanderers, meanwhile, will miss several players for their first-ever trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium. Toti Gomes, Marshall Munetsi, Jean-Ricner Bellegarde, Rodrigo Gomes, Daniel Bentley and Leon Chiwome are all out injured, while Emmanuel Agbadou is with the Ivory Coast national team in Afcon.

There are also doubts over the availability of Joao Gomes and Hee-Chan Hwang.
