Leeds United face a growing fight to bring back Karl Darlow after his contract expired on Tuesday. Talks over an extension have continued, but no agreement has been reached.

According to Sky Sports, Everton are interested as they seek extra depth behind Jordan Pickford and Mark Travers. Leeds have tabled a new deal and Darlow is considering his options, while Manchester United are also keen.

United want an experienced back-up to first-choice Senne Lammens, who arrived last year in an £18million move. Altay Bayindir and Andre Onana could both depart. Onana is expected to return to Trabzonspor on loan and any Bayindir exit could strengthen Old Trafford interest.

For potential suitors, Darlow represents a low-cost, low-risk addition. The 35-year-old, a homegrown Wales international, started 22 of Leeds' 38 Premier League games last season.

He slipped behind Lucas Perri last summer, then reclaimed the starting role earlier this year after two errors from his rival against Manchester United and Newcastle. Goalkeeper remains uncertain at Elland Road, with Perri the only senior option under contract. A new deal is thought to be verbally agreed with Alex Cairns, and Illan Meslier is now a free agent with Arsenal interest as they might need cover for David Raya.
