Everton are searching for just their second win in eight league games. They host Fulham on Saturday in a crucial lower-table clash at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
David Moyes’ side, who sit 14th, have struggled for consistent results. However, they now face a 15th-placed Fulham team that received a major confidence boost last weekend. Indeed, Marco Silva’s side ended a four-match losing streak with an emphatic 3-0 victory over Wolves.
David Moyes has received a significant boost ahead of the match. Star attacker Iliman Ndiaye is fit and available to play. This is positive news after he was substituted with cramp on Monday. However, the defence remains depleted, as Jarrad Branthwaite and Nathan Patterson are both still sidelined.
Fulham’s injury crisis has significantly eased just in time for the trip to Merseyside. Marco Silva confirmed that left-back Antonee Robinson is the only first-team player definitively ruled out. This means key players like Joachim Andersen, Harry Wilson, and Raúl Jiménez are all available for selection again.
Everton’s recent form has been poor. They have managed just one victory in their last seven Premier League matches (W1 D3 L3). Consequently, they have slipped to 14th in the table. Although they lost 3-0 to Spurs in their last home game, they had previously been unbeaten at their new stadium. David Moyes will be desperate for a win, especially as he holds a great personal record against Fulham.
Fulham’s 3-0 win over Wolves last weekend was vital. It successfully snapped a four-game losing streak and lifted them to 15th, just one point behind Everton. However, the Cottagers are still searching for their first away win of the season. In fact, they have failed to win any of their five league matches on the road (D2 L3).
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Gueye; Grealish, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Beto
Fulham predicted XI: Leno; Tete, Andersen, Bassey, Sessegnon; Reed, Lukić; Wilson, Iwobi, Smith Rowe; Jiménez
