According to Sacha Tavolieri, Amadou Onana (22) has successfully undergone his medical ahead of his move to Aston Villa from Everton. The Belgian international is set to cost Villa a fee in the region of £45m after the Toffees accepted a proposal from their divisional rivals. The transfer is set to be announced on Monday.

With fees agreed between the two Premier League outfits, Onana has taken medical tests to become a new player for Aston Villa. The 22-year-old will look forward to playing Champions League football next season after the Birmingham club qualified for UEFA’s premier competition under the management of Unai Emery. The former Lille midfielder will sign a 5-year contract at Villa Park.
