Juventus have identified Everton’s Beto as a last-minute alternative for their attack as the clock ticks down on the winter transfer window.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Portuguese-origin striker remains a secondary option for the Bianconeri, who are currently focusing their primary efforts on securing Randal Kolo Muani from Tottenham. Should the pursuit of the Frenchman fail to materialize in the final hours, Juventus are prepared to turn decisively toward the former Udinese man.
The report notes that Everton have already rejected an initial proposal from Turin involving a swap deal with Edon Zhegrova. Despite this refusal, Juventus continue to assess the feasibility of a deal for Beto, who is well-acquainted with the rigours of Serie A.
With the deadline fast approaching, the Bianconeri haven’t ruled out a late move and would keep their eyes open on any movement.
