The Premier League is back and with more games on TV than ever before for the new season.
Sky Sports will increase their coverage of the English top flight by broadcasting 218 matches in the 2025/26 campaign, compared to 128 last year.
They will be showing at least four matches per week, with extra Sunday 2pm kick offs joining their usual Friday night, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon slots. They will also have full coverage of three midweek match rounds.
Sky will expand their offering of live Premier League football by broadcasting simultaneous games on Sunday afternoons for the first time ever. On the opening weekend, for instance, viewers can either watch Chelsea host Crystal Palace or Nottingham Forest entertain Brentford at 2pm.
It’s a long overdue addition, but that’s not all. Sky Sports have also introduced Multiview, a new programme which will bounce from game to game whenever four or more matches are broadcast simultaneously due to fixture displacement.
Meanwhile, TNT Sports will continue to broadcast the early kickoff on Saturdays, while Premier Sports will show one 3pm kickoff every Saturday in the Republic of Ireland.
