Allan is 21-years-old and he comes with a lot of experience. He has played 64 games for Palmeiras' first-team and has made 11 goal contributions so far.

Admittedly, his output considering he plays as a right-winger is a little low.

He can also play on the left-wing and in midfield and he's left-footed which is an ideal profile. He's quite small, but like most Brazilians he has a great technical grasp of the ball and is very good in one vs one situations, shifting his feet and manipulating the ball.

As a right-winger he tends to prefer to cut inside and move onto his left-foot. He can put crosses into the box or take shots on - but he hasn't perfect his execution in either.

Last season, he completed 2.5 dribbles per 90 minutes in Brazil's top flight, and that is definitely the biggest strength of his game. He's a decent dribbler in tight spaces and can take on multiple defenders at the same time.

It's interesting to note that in the Club World Cup last year, he even played as a right-back against Chelsea, where he won two of out three defensive duels and looked relatively comfortable.

He's played as a right-back a few more times in certain games for Palmeiras, which shows that he can quite versatile.

At U20 level he also regularly played as a midfielder. So, you can assume that he has quite an advanced tactical intelligence and that is very exciting if you're Liverpool, and if you're looking to add a player not to start regularly but to bolster the squad.

Ultimately, though, Allan is quite a raw profile. He's not necessarily a ready-made player. There's still a lot of work to be done when it comes to his development.
