Ex-Arsenal youngster Amario Cozier-Duberry has had a strong season on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion to Bolton Wanderers, and he was recently named in the League One Team of the Season for his efforts.

But Bolton’s season isn’t quite over yet, with one final game at Wembley left to play next weekend.

After finishing 5th in the League One table, Bolton overcame Bradford with a 2-0 aggregate win in the play-off semi-finals to set up a match against Stockport in the final on Sunday, May 24th.

Cozier-Duberry played a significant role in Bolton reaching the final, scoring a curling effort to give his team a 1-0 win in the first leg. The side then secured their progression with a late goal in the second leg away from home.

The 20-year-old had scored eight goals and assisted 12 in his 34 League One appearances prior to the play-offs, despite missing over two months of the season with a knee ligament injury.

The former Gunner will now be hoping to make an impact at Wembley and help Bolton Wanderers up into the Championship, before returning to parent club Brighton in the summer.

Brighton will be pleased with how Cozier-Duberry has done on an individual basis this season, particularly after his underwhelming previous loan to Blackburn Rovers.

The next challenge will be to figure out what they should do with him in 2026/27, and whether or not he has a future in Brighton.
