Former Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart was in attendance at Tannadice today for the game against Dundee United. The Englishman brought the curtain down on an illustrious career earlier this year moving into punditry but his enthusiasm for Celtic has not been dampened.
Hart has been back at Celtic Park as a supporter as well as a co-commentator but he’s continuing his affinity with the club with a trip to Dundee this afternoon with his son.
There was no doubt that Hart would be a regular at Celtic games when available, his return for the Celtic Christmas Ad showed that he wasn’t willing to move on completely from the club.
Signed by Ange Postecoglou from Spurs in 2021, Hart became a key figure in Celtic’s success over the last three years, winning seven trophies. The ex-Man City stopper loved Celtic and it was clear that this was reciprocated by the support, culminating in the emotional scenes in his last game at Paradise.
Super Joe is a great ambassador for Celtic and, indeed, Scottish football as he continues to use his platform to promote the action North of the Border.
