Ex-Corinthians midfielder: Frustrated by lack of first-team chances

This Friday, the Central do Timão TV published yet another exclusive interview on YouTube with a figure connected to Corinthians. This time, the guest was Fabrício Oya, a midfielder who came up through the club’s youth academy and currently plays for Itabaiana. In a relaxed conversation, he revisited his journey from his very first steps at the Terrão alvinegro to his path as a professional player.

During the interview, the athlete shared stories about his childhood, his initial trials at Corinthians, and the decisive family influence in his development as a player, which took place entirely at Parque São Jorge, standing out in several youth categories. Oya also highlighted the importance of psychological support to deal with the pressures of a football career and talked about friendships with former teammates from his generation.
