Forward Pedrinho, a Corinthians youth product, was one of the standout players in Zenit's 2-0 victory over Lokomotiv Moscow last Saturday (1st), in the Russian league. The Brazilian scored the opening goal and played a decisive role at various moments in the match, helping the St. Petersburg team reach ten games unbeaten this season and secure their third consecutive win in the competition.

On the field for 84 minutes, Pedrinho posted impressive numbers that reflect his influence on the result: one goal, two shots, two dribbles, 86% pass accuracy, two successful long balls, three defensive actions, six ball recoveries, four duels won, and two fouls suffered. With good offensive movement and dedication in tracking back, the forward is solidifying his place in the squad and is experiencing one of his best phases since arriving in Russia.

In the current season, the former Corinthians player has two goals and two assists in 18 games, maintaining consistency and showing growing performance. Since he was officially announced by Zenit in January 2024, Pedrinho has played 71 matches, scored 10 goals, and provided 10 assists for the Russian club.

A product of Terrão, Pedrinho made his debut for Corinthians' first team at 17 years old, in March 2023, and played 22 matches, scoring one goal, before moving to European football.

With this result, Zenit remains strong in the fight for the top spots in the Russian league, currently occupying third place with 29 points.
