Juergen Klinsmann feels that forward Ademola Lookman would’ve been “perfect” for Inter Milan.

The German former striker gave his thoughts in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. He also suggested making a move for Kim Min-Jae.

The soap opera between Inter Milan and Ademola Lookman dominated the summer transfer window for several weeks.

The Nerazzurri made two offers for the Nigerian. They went as high as €45 million with their bid.

However, Atalanta rejected both offers from Inter.

Reportedly, La Dea wanted a higher fee for Lookman, and would not even give Inter a counteroffer.

Former Inter and Tottenham Hotspur striker Juergen Klinsmann gave his thoughts.

“I’m very sorry to see Inter not sign him,” said the German.

“He would have been perfect. Because he’s a player of a top European and world level, and he would have fit in to a great attack which currently is missing a player with his characteristics.”

Meanwhile, Klinsmann noted that “Kim risks being benched at Bayern by Upamecano and Tah.”

“It’s absurd for a player like that not to play regularly during a World Cup year,” he argued.

“When I was coach of South Korea, I saw how good he was,” Klinsmann added.

“If I were a director at Inter, I’d be thinking about him,” the former striker argued. “He’d be perfect for a three-man defense.”
