Ex-Leeds interim Michael Skubala seals Lincoln’s 65-year wait with League One promotion | OneFootball

Former Leeds United interim Michael Skubala has led Lincoln City to League One promotion with a 2-1 win at Reading, sealing a first season at Championship level since 1961.

Lincoln conceded a 92nd-minute equaliser at the Select Car Leasing Stadium, then substitute Jack Moylan struck four minutes later to win it. Promotion arrives with five games left as the first EFL side to go up this season.

Lincoln are 24 games unbeaten and are clear favourites for the third-tier title. The Imps have spent the last seven years in League One.
