Tomorrow, Inter return to action in the Champions League.

The Nerazzurri play their first home fixture in Europe’s biggest club competition for the season. They host Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.

Inter got a precious point away to Manchester City in their first match of the competition.

But now, the Nerazzurri will feel that they need to start getting wins if they’re to hope to finish in the top eight of the “league phase” of the competition’s new format.

Inter coach Simone Inzaghi will at the same time be looking to balance the Champions League with Serie A, however.

Therefore, the Gazzetta report, there will be a few changes to the team. Inzaghi is aiming to rotate his squad.

Zielinski, De Vrij & Taremi To Start For Inter Vs Red Star Belgrade

In midfield, former Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski could make his second start of the season.

The Pole’s first start for Inter also came in the Champions League, against City. And according to the Gazzetta, he is ready to replace Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the lineup against Red Star.

Meanwhile, in defense the Gazzetta anticipate that Stefan de Vrij will get the nod.

The Dutchman could take the place of Francesco Acerbi in the centre of Inter’s defense.

Or alternatively, Acerbi could move over to the left of the back three, making room for de Vrij, whose best position is in the centre.

In that case, Alessandro Bastoni would get a rest.

Lastly, the Gazzetta report, Iranian international Mehdi Taremi will definitely start in attack.

The former Porto striker had started against City. And once again, he will get his chance in Europe.

The Gazzetta predict that Marcus Thuram, rather than Lautaro Martinez, will make way for Taremi.
