Alisson Becker has been a major part of the success at Liverpool in recent seasons and has established himself as one of the best keepers in the world during his time between the sticks at Anfield. The 31-year-old has won one Premier League title at the club as well as a Champions League crown, keeping a clean sheet in the final in Madrid against Tottenham Hotspur.

The Brazilian goalkeeper’s presence has been missed at times this season, despite Caoimhin Kelleher providing some immense performances in his absence over the last few weeks. Reports have begun to circulate around certain quadrants of the Liverpool fan base, suggesting that the mercurial shot stopper has plans to leave the club at the end of the season following the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

Alisson To Stay:

We understand Alisson Becker is very happy at Liverpool and has absolutely no plans to leave the club this summer. There are no ongoing negotiations with any clubs regarding his exit, and he is fully expected to be part of the Liverpool squad at the beginning of next season.

Reports have begun to circulate this week suggesting Kelleher was being kept at the club due to the fact Alisson could be on his way out, but we can categorically confirm that these reports are not true. The Brazilian, who has kept 85 clean sheets in 197 Premier League appearances, will be part of the club’s plans under the new manager, Arne Slot.

Slot is likely to be confirmed by the club within the coming days, after detailing his desire to join after Feyenoord’s 2-0 win in the Eredivisie last night against Go Ahead Eagles. Negotiations are moving fast between the two parties, and a resolution is likely to be reached soon.

Liverpool remain third in the league, still have a chance of winning the Premier League title in the four games that remain.
