Arsenal goalkeeper Alexei Rojas has signed a new contract with the club.

The 19-year-old only penned his first professional deal last summer, but has now agreed fresh terms that will run until June 2026.

Rojas has been with Arsenal since the age of 13 and has featured regularly for their youth teams.

The plan is for the teenager to work with the first team next season as Arsenal often use four goalkeepers during training sessions.

Rojas has had experience of that this season, joining in sessions alongside David Raya, Neto and fellow youngster Tommy Setford.

Arsenal currently have several talented young goalkeepers on their books, including Rojas and Setford, with Jack Porter and Lucas Nygaard also highly thought of.

Rojas is yet to make his senior debut for Arsenal, but he has been on the bench for the first team and was part of last summer’s pre-season tour to the USA.

The 19-year-old was born in Basildon, but is able to represent Colombia through his father and has played for them at youth level.

Most recently, Rojas was part of the Colombia Under-20 squad at the 2025 South American U20 Championship and he helped them finish third.

Away from football, the goalkeeper is passionate about sustainability and last year he spoke at Reclaim, a special weekend hosted at the Eden Project focused on mental health and planetary wellbeing.

Last month, Rojas visited students at Arts and Media School Islington to be part of a sustainability workshop run by Arsenal in the Community.
