Chelsea have now accepted that they want to sell Enzo Fernandez this summer, and are gradually lining things up to make that happen.

Our writer Simon Phillips has been in contact with his sources, and has confirmed some pretty big transfer news about this coming summer.
Before yesterday’s game against Sunderland he wrote that it would likely be the last time we saw Enzo Fernandez in a Chelsea shirt. The waving to the fans the Argentine did at the end of the game seemed to confirm that.
Phillips says that Chelsea want £100m, but “we could see a deal agreed for something closer to £85m.”
Considering the amortisation of Enzo’s value following his £105m signing, that would mean we’re just breaking even on his book value.
Chelsea, for their part “do want to sell now.” The question is who might buy. Real Madrid have been linked a lot, Manchester City and PSG are also mentioned here. But are any of them willing to spend that sort of money? It’s possible, but we can’t see it being easy for Chelsea to get such a monster fee in this economy, especially when everyone knows Enzo is forcing his way out.
Fans are already getting very excited about Xabi Alonso’s arrival at Chelsea, with predictions already coming in about next season.
Chelsea see Alonso as the man to change the culture at the club as well as the tactics.
