René Mitongo (19) only joined Trabzonspor from Standard Liege earlier this summer, however, the Belgium youth international could be on the move once again, Get French Football News understands.

Mitongo left the Belgian club in a deal worth €1m earlier in the summer. However, in Turkiye, his prospects for minutes in the short-term are limited. As a result, the striker could leave the club on a straight loan deal before the closer of the window. Trabzonspor already have a bid on the table from Portuguese side Estrela de Amadora. That offer is for a straight loan.

However, nothing has been signed and Mitongo could yet instead make the move to France. Get French Football News understands that there are clubs in France’s second tier who are showing interest in signing the centre-forward. At his formative club, Standard Liege, Mitongo made nine first-team appearances. He has yet to make his competitive debut for Trabzonspor.
