Exequiel Zeballos unveiled by Monza after leaving Boca | OneFootball

Exequiel Zeballos has left Boca to join Monza, who have officially unveiled the attacker after agreeing a permanent deal for his full registration.

Boca finalised a transfer worth four million euros net for 100 percent of his economic rights, drawing a line under his time at the club where he came through the ranks.

As part of the agreement, Boca will retain 40 percent of any capital gain from a future sale of the winger, a protection that will apply for the next four seasons.

Zeballos departs after flashes of brilliance punctuated by injuries that affected his continuity. He opted to pursue a move to Europe, having not accepted the renewal offer tabled by the board since the start of the year. He has signed a long-term contract with the Italian club until 30 June 2030.

Boca remain active in the market, which closes on Wednesday 2 September. The club obtained an extension after selling and loaning players abroad following the first deadline.
