Arsenal welcomed Wigan Athletic at the Emirates Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the FA Cup. The Gunners made a bright start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 11th minute thanks to Noni Madueke’s effort. Gabriel Martinelli doubled his side’s advantage in the 19th minute. Jack Hunt scored an unfortunate own goal just four minutes later. Gabriel Jesus made it 4-0 to Arsenal in the 27th minute as Mikel Arteta’s men went into the half-time break with a 4-0 lead.
