Eberechi Eze has spoken on his enjoyment of playing with club and country teammate Bukayo Saka calling the winger “a fun play to play with.”

Eze joined Arsenal in the summer of 2025, and alongside Saka, helped the Gunners secure their first Premier League title in 22 years. When asked to describe what it is like to play with the 24-year-old, Eze spoke on his teammate’s talent and the enjoyment he gets from playing alongside him.

“He’s an incredibly talented player and his level of understanding of the game is insane,” the 27-year-old said. “I feel like he’s a player that makes the right decision a lot of the time and he’s so effective, so efficient.

“I enjoy playing with him a lot because you know what you’re going to get from him. You can always link up with him. He’s a fun player to play with, for sure.

“I’d say just experience and his learning growing up. I feel like that’s something that he’s probably worked on from a young age and we’re only just seeing it now.

“We see it in the highest stage, so it’s something that he’s probably been doing from young. It’s definitely a difficult skill to cultivate, so yes, he’s a special player.”

Eze also spoke on manager Thomas Tuchel’s comments on turning England into a Premier League team, saying it is difficult for opponents to break down the Three Lions.

“Whenever we play a game, we have that level of dominance and we try to impose ourselves in every game. You can see how difficult it is for opponents to play against us, that energy and spirit.

“I think adding that plus the quality that we have in this team, it makes us really difficult to play against.”
