Colón are sweating on Alan Bonansea’s fitness to face Ferro, with Ezequiel Medrán assessing alternative attacking plans.

According to Radiogol.com, the forward scored after 12 minutes on his debut against Deportivo Madryn, then left early in the second half with a right shoulder subluxation.

He missed the match with Central Norte, and Colón drew 0-0, barely testing the goalkeeper and missing his presence in the box.

Facundo Castro struggled, which only highlighted the gap. The club are monitoring Bonansea’s recovery to determine if he can play against Ferro, and there is internal optimism he could feature.

Medrán is weighing up a recall for Castro despite two underwhelming outings, though that does not appear his leading option.

He could instead introduce Matías Godoy, allowing Lucas Cano to lead the line. Another possibility is Conrado Ibarra for Castro, with Ignacio Lago supporting Cano.
