Barclays WSL2 promotion-chasers Charlton Athletic and Birmingham City have both been paired with lower division sides in the third round of this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup.

The third round draw was streamed live on TNT Sports Football’s official YouTube channel this evening. The draw was split into Northern and Southern sections.

In the Northern section, Durham play host to Sheffield United in the only all-WSL2 affair. Nottingham Forest travel to former third tier promotion rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City play host to Sporting Khalsa while Sunderland travel to Derby County.

In the Southern section, Bristol City take on Barclays WSL2 rivals Portsmouth. Southampton play host to Royston Town while Charlton Athletic also have a favourable home tie against Watford or Saltdean United. Ipswich Town go to AFC Portchester or Worthing while Crystal Palace have an away tie at Lewes.

The Adobe Women’s FA Cup third round ties are scheduled to take place on Sunday 14 December 2025. The winners of the third round ties will join the 12 Barclays Women’s Super League clubs in the fourth round draw. That stage of the competition is due to take place on the weekend of 18 January 2026.

This season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup final is scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 31 May 2026.
