FA Cup fifth round draw – Newcastle United get Brighton | OneFootball

Monday night has been FA Cup fifth round draw time.

That draw made at 7.10pm as part of The One Show on BBC, ahead of the Doncaster v Crystal Palace match which kicks off at 7.45pm. There is also Exeter v Forest to be decided to see which of those gets through to the fifth round, that match is on Tuesday night.

A total of 16 balls (see below) in the hat, Newcastle United were number 9, having moved past Birmingham on Saturday night.

The FA Cup fifth round draw seeing who NUFC will be playing sometime on the weekend of Saturday 1 March 2025.

The draw eventually now made and… Newcastle United drawing Brighton.

Official FA announcement giving details ahead of FA Cup fifth round draw – 9 February 2025:

The draw for the Emirates FA Cup fifth round proper will be made live on the BBC’s ‘The One Show’ on Monday 10 February.

Taking place at around 7.10pm GMT, the draw will be presented by Kelly Somers with former England and Arsenal players Alex Scott and Theo Walcott drawing the balls out.
