If anyone doubted that the FA Cup still retains its magic then look to Saturday’s early kick-offs as proof that it very much remains.
Non-league Kidderminster Harriers are one of just two non-league outfits left in the competition and their camp spoke before hosting West Ham how victory would register as the greatest cup shock ever.
Well that shock is well and truly on after Alex Penny thrashed home a loose ball in the box to spark incredible scenes in the stands.
And in London, Plymouth gave their fans a moment to savour too when Macaulay Gillesphey headed home a free-kick to give his side the advantage against Chelsea.
WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT 😱 @gillesphey HEADS HOME FOR @only1argyle AGAINST @ChelseaFC 🤯 #EmiratesFACup–
It’s what this competition is all about.
