Fabian Ruiz remains doubtful for PSG’s Classique against OM | OneFootball

Fabian Ruiz remains a doubt for PSG’s Classique against OM on Sunday at 20:45, as he continues to deal with a left knee contusion.

According to L'Équipe, the current feeling is to prioritise caution regarding the midfielder’s involvement. PSG will also be without Achraf Hakimi, who received a one-match ban, plus another suspended, after his red card at Strasbourg in a 2-1 match last weekend.

After rest on Tuesday and Wednesday, PSG resumed preparations on Thursday afternoon, trained on Friday morning, and will hold a final session at 11:00 on Saturday.

Ruiz has not featured since the 1-2 defeat at Sporting Portugal in Lisbon on 20 January, when he suffered the injury. The indication on Friday was that he would not take part against OM.

Khvitcha Kvaratskhelia is still recovering from a right ankle sprain sustained in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle on 28 January.
