Fabian Ruiz has returned to the Paris Saint-Germain squad, while Nuno Mendes is rested, for Sunday’s Ligue 1 meeting with Lyon at the Parc des Princes at 20:45. The fixture closes matchday 30.
According to L'Équipe, the Spanish midfielder is back after three months out since his last outing against Sporting Portugal with a knee injury, giving Luis Enrique another option in midfield.
Désiré Doué, who went off injured against Liverpool in the Champions League on Tuesday, is included. He suffered a blow to his right knee, spent two days in treatment, then returned to full training.
By contrast, Mendes, also withdrawn against Liverpool with pain in his right thigh, has been kept at rest. Quentin Ndjantou remains injured and Ibrahim Mbaye is not selected.
The rest of the core is available, with Dembélé, Barcola, Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha, Zaïre-Emery and Marquinhos all in the squad. Lyon remain in the hunt for Europe.
Paris, leaders with 63 points, will look to continue their momentum a little over two weeks before the Champions League semi-final first leg against Bayern Munich. Against an opponent historically awkward for them, PSG should line up their strongest side.
