Fabinho struck in the final minute to earn Corinthians a 1-1 draw with Marreco in the Liga Nacional de Futsal, a goal that also lifted him back into the club’s top three scorers this season.

According to Meu Timao, the pivot now has nine goals in 2026, level with Lucas Martins in third. Maicon leads on 11, with Rick second on 10.

Vini Paiva is fifth on seven, followed by Renatinho on six. Kevin William and Fellype Bancarelli have four apiece, though Kevin left the club in May. Igor Bredof has three, with Caio Barros and João Vitor Da Bonja on two each, and Patrick, Vini Dias, Papagaio and Kaio Lopes on one.

Corinthians struggled to control long spells and saw Marreco open the scoring.

The result denied Timão the chance to all but secure a playoff berth, leaving them 11th on 13 points. It did, however, confirm top-flight survival, with São José, on nine and occupying the first relegation place, now unable to catch them.

Their final LNF fixture is set for 8 August against Pato Futsal at the Ginásio Wlamir Marques at 19:00. Before then, they play at the same venue on Thursday at 20:00 in the Campeonato Paulista.
