Fábio Silva, a former Benfica youth striker, has been linked with a possible summer move to Atlético Madrid under Diego Simeone. According to Glorioso 1904, the Spanish club have him on a list of attacking options.

The interest is framed as contingency work as Atlético analyse striker profiles to cover any potential exit from Simeone's squad. A possible transfer involving Julián Álvarez is cited as a scenario that could push the club to seek alternatives in attack.

Borussia Dortmund, currently second in the Bundesliga, paid about 22.5 million euros in summer 2025 to sign Silva from Wolverhampton, who had taken him from Porto in 2020 for 40 million euros.

He is currently valued at 28 million euros and previously represented Benfica's under-15s between 2015 and 2017, playing 38 matches and scoring 29 goals.

This season, 2025/26, Silva has made 27 competitive appearances for Dortmund, logging 817 minutes, with two goals and six assists.
