According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea are starting a NEW project this summer, and it involves Joao Pedro.

The Chelsea striker has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona this week, with the Catalan side seriously courting the attacker.

It looks like Pedro might have his head turned by interest from the Spanish giants too, as is natural for most players in world football when Barcelona or Real Madrid coming calling. These are HUGE clubs. However, Chelsea are aiming to get huge again too, and they are not about to let Pedro leave as they start an alleged NEW project this summer.

Speaking on his latest YouTube show, Romano said:

“My understanding is Chelsea has NO intention of letting Joao Pedro leave this summer. They believe the new project this summer has to start with him as a crucial part.

“The summer is long; if anything changes, I’ll let you know.”
