Fabrizio Romano says a transfer will happen. This could be massive for Liverpool.
Liverpool's summer business continues as they look to rebuild their squad after a disappointing campaign. Of course, Andoni Iraola's arrival changes things - they're now looking at a slightly different shape and style.
One quick way to make that happen is the same old trick whenever a new head coach arrives: you look at his former players. Liverpool will almost certainly do just that as they weigh up moves for Bournemouth stars.
One particularly interesting one is Junior Kroupi. There are few teenage attackers over the top five leagues who had a more impressive campaign than Kroupi.
The forward, who turned 20 this week, scored 13 Premier League goals in his debut season. It sets him up not just as one to watch but one who could legitimately be a major target for Liverpool.
We know that the Reds are shopping in that age bracket, having bid for Yan Diomande and looked into a deal for Ayyoub Bouaddi. Kroupi is in that group of elite young players delivering in a top European league.

Liverpool have certainly been linked and it came in the immediate aftermath of Iraola's appointment. The Reds are fans and that's why Fabrizio Romano's latest comments are so interesting.
Replying to a user on Twitter, Romano claimed that Kroupi's big move will happen - it's just a matter of when he chooses.
"Kroupi will end up at a top top top club within a year," he said. "Maybe already this summer. He just needs to choose which one."
Liverpool, then? The Reds need a goalscorer after Hugo Ekitike's injury risks ruling him out until the New Year. Mohamed Salah's exit leaves them even lighter.
And so pushing for Kroupi does make a lot of sense. He wouldn't come cheaply but there's no question that he's an exciting investment, and one the new coach knows how to get the most out of.
Keep your eyes on this one.
