FC Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain have been linked to Bayern Munich ace Kingsley Coman as the winger could be on the move in this final week of the summer transfer window. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano provided an update on his future amid his uncertain future.

A few days ago, L’Equipe reported that Coman’s entourage described the rumors about Barcelona as having no concrete basis and noted that the Catalan side have heard more about the situation than they have.

Moreover, the French media outlet also revealed that while the player has a strong connection to the Parisian club, the response to these rumors is much the same. Still, Romano is providing different information than what L’Equipe reported a few days ago.

In his column for CaughtOffside, published on Sunday, Romano said everyone should monitor Coman’s situation closely.

“Let me tell you, once again, keep a close eye on Kingsley Coman in the final days because Coman could be an option for Premier League clubs and could be an option for Barcelona,” Romano wrote.

“He’s appreciated by Hansi Flick, but the salary is expensive. Federico Chiesa is still on the list at Barcelona but Coman is still waiting for a move and Coman still has chances to move.

“It could be an initial loan with buy clause, so a big opportunity on the market, but he’s on a big salary, on a big contract, and this is why the clubs are waiting until the last minute to try to find the best deal possible with Kingsley Coman.”

Last season, Coman made 27 appearances for Bayern Munich, scoring five goals and recording three assists. Coman left PSG in 2014 and joined Juventus, but he was loaned out to Bayern Munich in 2015 and has been with the German giants ever since.
