Borussia Dortmund have signed PAOK attacking midfielder Giannis Konstantelias. Fabrizio Romano had indicated the deal was virtually complete with paperwork signed, and the Bundesliga club have now unveiled the 23-year-old.

The Greek will cost 32 million euros including add-ons, with PAOK retaining a 15% share of any future sale. He scored 10 goals and provided two assists in 31 games last season.

Konstantelias was in Dortmund on Sunday as the transfer moved into its final phase. He had already featured in four matches for PAOK at the start of this season.

A PAOK academy graduate, he is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Greek football and had attracted interest from several European clubs.

He had been linked with Sporting and Benfica, with the latter tracking his situation at the start of 2026. The switch to Germany removes him from Benfica’s radar after he was mooted as a priority to bolster their attack.
