Jadon Sancho was again left off of Manchester United’s squad that fell 2-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday. As a result, the exclusion from the team for this weekend’s contest further fuels the rumors of a departure as the summer deadline approaches.

According to a report this week from The Athletic’s Laurie Whitwell, Sancho has once again made it apparent that he desires to depart Manchester United before the deadline.

Paris Saint-Germain have been one of the clubs linked to the 24-year-old this summer. However, there’s some mixed info about PSG’s position in this race, but it looks like they might be out; still, anything can transpire in these last couple of days.

The latest information comes from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who reported that negotiations for Sancho are expected to continue in the next few days, as this is the primary reason he wasn’t in the squad.

In addition to the PSG rumors, Sancho has been linked to Juventus in the last couple of days, and Romano notes that Serie A are keen on bringing in two wingers. Due to this, Juventus have the Englishman on their shortlist of targets.

Sancho spent the latter part of the 2023-24 season on loan at Borussia Dortmund, where he played a role in the club’s run to the UEFA Champions League final. Last season, Sancho played in 24 matches for  Manchester United and Dortmund, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
