Manchester United host Bodo/Glimt in Matchday 5 of the Europa League on Thursday night.

Ahead of the game, manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that he plans to rotate such that every player in the squad is on the same page.

He said via Manutd.com: “We have to do it, especially in this moment because we have a lot of games, we are in the beginning of something, they have to feel they are part of the team.

“They are international players, we will rotate and we will try to manage to win every game and not just focus on this game, and have a clear idea of how to play. Everybody has to be on the same page.”

Amorim’s comments could be good news for several United stars. Luke Shaw could be one of those to benefit, having returned from a long injury lay-off.

The 29-year-old featured on the left side of the back three in Amorim’s first training session and he played in the same position against Ipswich Town.

Shaw, who was described as ‘fabulous‘ by former United boss Erik ten Hag, came on as a second-half substitute, replacing Jonny Evans before the hour mark.

The £30 million signing was impressive with a passing accuracy of 88 percent. He won 100 percent of his duels contested alongside one tackle and one interception.

In our view, Shaw could make a surprise start in the same role against Bodo/Glimt.

Lisandro Martinez, who has returned from a back problem, could feature in the middle of the three-man central defence with Matthijs de Ligt on the right hand side.

Rasmus Hojlund, Kobbie Mainoo, Antony and Manuel Ugarte are among other candidates who could make the starting line-up against the Norwegian champions.

United are currently 15th in the Europa League standings, three points adrift of the top eight.

The Red Devils need to make the top eight to directly qualify for the last 16 without a play-off. With this in mind, tomorrow’s game is a must-win to make up ground.
