Facundo Buonanotte joins Elche on season-long loan from Brighton | OneFootball

Facundo Buonanotte has joined La Liga side Elche from Brighton & Hove Albion on a season-long loan.

According to NY Times, the 21-year-old has played twice for Argentina.

He joined Brighton from Rosario Central in January 2023, then recorded five goals in 50 appearances across the next 18 months.

He spent 2024-25 at Leicester City, scoring six goals, but the club were relegated from the Premier League.

Last season he had loan spells at Chelsea then Leeds United, making eight and four appearances respectively.

Brighton have strengthened Fabian Hurzeler’s squad with six arrivals, defenders Costinha, Pascal Struijk, Michael Svoboda and Luka Vuskovic, plus wide forwards Rodrigo Rego and Zadok Yohanna.
