Facundo Medina will start on the left of the defence for Marseille away to Bruges on Wednesday at 21:00, on matchday eight of the Champions League league phase, with Igor Paixao on the bench, according to L'Équipe.

Against Lens on Saturday, a 3-1 win, Paixao filled that role while Medina was part of a back three.

Medina moving one line higher now allows Amir Murillo to slot into the back three to cover the suspension of Benjamin Pavard.

Up front, Marseille keep the same trio as against Liverpool, Greenwood-Gouiri-Traoré.

Marseille are playing for a place in the play-offs against Bruges and must win to seal qualification without relying on other results.
